We are located in the heart of the Périgord Noir, in the so-called golden triangle, just 6 kilometers from two beautiful rivers: the Dordogne and the Vézère. Here you can enjoy canoeing, or for those who prefer a more relaxed pace, take a trip on a traditional gabare, a flat river boat.Our domain is situated on the edge of the village of Meyrals: you will find yourself in perfect tranquility amidst meadows and forests, yet only a 5-minute drive from the village center. There you will find two restaurants: La Merenda, serving local specialties and excellent pizzas, and Une Affaire de Goûts, a bistronomic restaurant featuring fresh, local produce. There is also a bakery (boulangerie-pâtisserie) where you can buy fresh bread, pastries, and snacks.On Thursdays during the high season, there is a small market with regional products, and in the summer, the village often hosts lively festivals. A highlight is Epoufest, the famous scarecrow festival (end of July): three days filled with music, garage sales, food, and many other activities for all ages.Fishing is abundant both in the rivers and local lakes. For those who prefer hiking, there are countless marked trails and routes - some even pass through our domain. The ancient pilgrimage routes to Santiago de Compostela (St. James) also run through this region. Hiking, cycling, and mountain biking are popular here, and many routes are also suitable for horseback riding, with several options available nearby.In addition, the region offers something for everyone: adventure parks, truffle hunting, rock climbing, climbing forests, outdoor swimming pools with water slides, exploring caves, and scenic flights by ultralight or hot air balloon. And for golf enthusiasts, there are several excellent golf courses in the vicinity.
